Tap Log, choose “Talk or type” and tap the mic. Say something like “spent 30k on lunch” and the assistant logs the transaction with its amount, category and date. Voice dictation is part of HeyCents Pro.
Just like voice, but typed: you write what you spent as a message in the assistant chat. If you’d rather not use the assistant, there’s “Fill in manually”, the classic form.
The assistant uses an AI model to pick out the amount, category and date from what you say or type. If you don’t mention a date, it uses today. It can make mistakes, so every transaction can be reviewed and edited.
On your phone, in a local database encrypted with SQLCipher, and in the HeyCents cloud (Firebase, by Google), encrypted at rest. That cloud is what syncs your devices and your shared wallet.
Read the privacy policyNo. The app has no ads and we don’t sell your information to anyone.
The assistant uses Gemini, a Google model. To categorize your transactions and answer your questions, it needs to read what you send it and the related transactions. Its answers are for guidance only, not financial advice.

Yes: personal, business, household… Each profile keeps its own transactions, all under one account, no second email needed.
Sign in with your Google or Apple account and your data appears, because it’s stored in the HeyCents cloud. You can also export it to CSV or JSON.
For free you can use HeyCents and try the AI assistant a few times. HeyCents Pro gives you full access to the assistant: log by talking or typing, ask questions and hear the answers. It costs $11,900 COP a month.
From your subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel the subscription.
Yes, from the app: Profile → Account → “Delete account and data”. Your wallets and data are deleted from the cloud. If you share a wallet, what you logged there stays, without your name or email.
How to delete your accountThe problem
Spreadsheets work, but every expense comes with a ritual. And when logging takes effort, the habit doesn’t last.
Too many fields.
Date, item, category, amount. For every expense, however small.
Too much time.
Then do it again for every coffee.
What if you could just say what you spent?
“Spent 30k on lunch.”
Say it once. HeyCents fills in the amount, the category and the date.
How it works
Type or say what you spent, the way you’d tell a friend. HeyCents picks out the amount, the category and the date.
Try a sentence
Recreation with sample data. You can always review and edit a transaction.
Three ways to use it
One assistant for everything: it logs what you spend and answers what you want to know about your money.

How HeyCents started
01The problem
One day I watched my mom tracking her expenses in a spreadsheet.
02The friction
Rows, columns, formulas. Every expense, by hand. It looked really hard.
03The question
I asked her: “isn’t there an easier way?”
04The idea
An app where all you do is say what you spent, in one sentence.
05The result
HeyCents: your finances, made much simpler.
Luis, creator of HeyCents
Fewer forms. No spreadsheets. More clarity about your money.
